eliminate this delayed start
With the "RC SAPI 5" dictionary tick box checked in the dictionary maintenance dialog, TextAloud takes nine seconds to begin "speaking." Otherwise, when it is unchecked, I find no delay. Is there a solution to eliminate this delayed start? Thank you.

Jim,
I am sorry but currently that is the tradeoff between accuracy and immediacy. Since RC SAPI 5 is so large the apply times can vary widely depending on the size of the text. Please see this Post for more details.
